A Day in the Life: Client Success Manager

As Coposit’s Client Success Manager, my main philosophy revolves around building meaningful relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. It is my responsibility to ensure clients feel super confident using Coposit and that they get the most out of what our platform has to offer.

On the flip side, I am also the client’s voice within the company, I ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner, and client feedback gets documented to make sure we keep improving our software. Often the best ideas come from client suggestions.

I’m also a mum, so it’s essential for me to have a good work-life balance. Any parent knows how challenging it can be to juggle parenting and work responsibilities; finding that balance is absolutely crucial to achieving my own personal success.

My Daily Routine

Every day presents a new challenge and a wholly different task to accomplish – no two days are ever the same at Coposit! The only thing that remains the same each day is my commitment to my to-do list!

With hybrid working becoming more popular, I like to work in the office at least three days a week for meetings and team activities, and then the other two at home. We have a great culture, so coming in is fun and productive.

7:05am: Rise and shine! That extra 5 minutes in the morning makes a world of difference. I like to be up an hour earlier than my 7-year-old daughter, Scarlett, to get myself ready before the morning mayhem that is the school rush.

8:45am: This is usually the time Scarlett and I are out the door to make it to school drop off each morning.

9:30am: Time to start the day at Coposit! I get right in to answering emails and going over my notes to complete anything that is left from the day prior.

I am mindful of keeping an organised to-do list each day to make sure every task is accomplished on time and with efficiency. There is nothing more satisfying than crossing off a task on my list!

My role is very dynamic. However, one thing that stays the same is my focus on servicing, or rather, overservicing, clients. Generally, I have got multiple meetings booked during the day. Whether it’s giving software demos or doing a project or legal onboarding, I always make sure I’m well prepared and educated on the client, their team, and the project to give a more personalised experience.

12-1pm: Time for an energising meal. My go-to lunch is typically a nice home-made sandwich. Sitting at a desk all day long can take a bit of a toll on my body, so I like to squeeze in a quick Pilates class when I’m working from home. If the weather is nice, popping out for a walk to enjoy the sunshine never fails to put a pep in my step.

2:15pm: In between meetings, I try to finalise any outstanding issues, work on a user guide manual or do some software testing to ensure everything is working as it should.

When it comes to deadlines and meeting expectations, prioritising is key. It’s crucial for me to evaluate tasks as having varying levels of urgency

5-5:15pm: Now it’s time to pick up my daughter from school and make it back home in time for dinner.

After Hours

I make sure I wind down after a big work day, and love spending quality time with my family. My daughter is what drives and motivates me each day.

Scarlett and I like to have a girl’s night every Monday, we watch a movie and put on a face mask for a bit of self-care and relaxation time. Scarlett also likes to practice the piano in the evenings. She will often stage an impromptu concert for my partner and me to enjoy. My little bit of advice for my fellow working mums is to allow yourself some me-time each day. Whether it is a bath, class or reading a book, prioritise some self-care time to recharge yourself in between your work and family commitments.
